Sponsor Needed!

Meet Steve Louissaint – a 14 year old boy excited to continue his studies in high school.

Fortunately, we were able to raise $1000 to fund his education in 2021. This includes tuition, books, and uniforms. However, we still need someone to sponsor him for the upcoming years. If interested, please email us at hope4haitischildren@gmail.com

Our Schools

Each year we host an annual school supply drive to provide the necessary tools for our students to succeed in school. The children are always excited to receive notebooks, pencils and pens, and backpacks!

Unfortunately, without our donations, these students would not have any supplies to use while in school throughout the year. They would only be limited to visual learning. Please consider sending us school supplies or a donation so we can continue providing these students with the necessary supplies.

In addition to students, we always need supplies for our teachers. Chalk and erasers are often used and hard to find in Haiti! They also need paper, notebooks, and  pens. The picture above shows some of our students receiving their backpacks for the year!

Visit our Get Involved and Mission Trips page to see how you can continue to help Hope for Haiti’s Children and our schools. Please consider donating below to help provide these students with their much needed school supplies.

Medical Mission Trip

If you work in the medical field and have skills you can contribute to our students and their families, please consider joining Hope for Haiti’s Children for a medical mission trip.

Common disorders we see include asthma, scabies, ringworm, bronchitis, superficial wounds, high blood pressure, arthritis, myopia, cataracts, anemia, poor dentition, allergies etc

Many of our patients come back for routine follow-ups. Adults with high blood pressure are aware that they need to recheck their blood pressure and get a refill of their medications. Children with asthma are brought back to recheck their lungs and to obtain new inhalers to continue their treatment.

In case you were wondering if your services are really needed – they are! The community always knows when the clinics are open through word of mouth, and they stand in line to be seen from sunrise to sunset! We never have too many volunteers or too many medications.

Our volunteers love helping with our medical mission trips because they find it rewarding and a chance to interact on a deeper level with the Haitian community. Haiti – The Beautiful

Many people only know Haiti from what they see on the news. They only know Haiti as an impoverished country with dirt and rocks. However, Haiti is just as beautiful as the other Caribbean Islands.

High School Graduation 2016

Hope for Haiti’s Children was proud to host the 2016 high school graduation for students we have been supporting for the past 13 years!

Thank you to our supporters, that helped fund their graduation gifts which were drawstring bags and graduation cups. The students were ecstatic to receive a gift!

Some of our students are going to continue on to technical schools, others are going to be working with their families to grow their farming and fishing businesses.
